Today in English, we looked at how much care Alan takes of his teeth in our story. He polishes them, cleans them, and keeps them shiny. That got us thinking about how we look after our own teeth!
To help us learn, we:
???? Practiced brushing our own teeth and talked about why it’s important to keep them clean.
???? Used the interactive whiteboard to clean teeth by brushing away old food and plaque.
???? Had lots of fun using playdough to clean off pretend teeth templates with toothbrushes — our very own dental challenge!
We’ve also been learning how to use adjectives to make our sentences more interesting. Using our symbols, we made sentences to describe Alan’s teeth — some of our favourites were big and scary!
