Yesterday, we talked about Holocaust Memorial Dy, and pupils showed great focus and empathy as we reflected on its importance. We discussed the message “Don’t Stand By” and why it means to help those who are not being treated well, linking it to our PCA value: “Treat others the way you want to be treated.” We also learned thy important buildings were lit up purple to show unity and remembrance. Together, we added our painted handprints around the memorial flame to show that we are all connected and thinking of everyone who suffered.
